How about a bit of fun each month and join over 100 other players sharing the prize money for only £5 per month.

Experience feel good shopping at smile.amazon.co.uk who will donate to FOYCS at no cost to you. It's the same Amazon - same products, same prices, same service, but Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases.  

Annual charity ball

So far, FOYCS has been fortunate enough to stage a hugely successful annual charity ball. This activity alone has provided most of the annual fundraising target.

This year's ball has sadly had to be cancelled due to the Coronavirus situation. 

We are still committed to supporting our Young Carers in these unprecedented times, in fact more so, as there are many that will need more support during this difficult period.  If you would like to make a donation please do so through the 'Donate' button on the home page.

We are always grateful for people who are keen to swim, cycle, run, walk or climb while raising money for FOYCS. If you have a personal challenge that you are taking on and are looking for a charity to support, please consider FOYCS.

Fundraising events

Looking ahead, we are keen to run more fundraising events where the emphasis will be as much on fun as funds. Revisit our website to find out when these events are happening.

We need to raise at least £54,000 each and every year to give hundreds of Young Carers in the Swindon area a taste of the childhood they are missing, but so richly deserve. For instance:

£60 funds phone credit for a Young Carer to keep in touch with their cared for family member

£300 funds a Christmas party for 20 Young Carers

£700 provides transport for 30 Young Carers to and from outings

£1000 gives 12 Young Carers the chance to go on a residential trip for a weekend

£3000 funds outings for 60 Young Carers to a West End show or @Bristol Science Museum

Here are just some of the ways in which you can help FOYCS.

• Buy tickets for our annual ball
• Donate auction or raffle items
• Attend fund-raising events
• Sponsor a fund-raising event
• Do something ridiculously challenging and ask people to sponsor you in aid of FOYCS
• Perhaps you are a business; if so, make FOYCS your charity of the year
• Provide free access to facilities

Whatever way you choose to help, an element of childhood is restored to those who need it
